Heidi Olson-Hilder

Equine Assisted Facilitator

Having grown up deathly allergic to horses I never thought I could follow my dream having horses in my life. Living in the city and raising 2 boys and working as a hairdresser, I put that dream aside. The dream was awakened when I learned of a hyperallerginic horse called the curly horse. Knowing that I could now be with horses again I dove head first in learning everything horse. Soon I discovered by being around horses again and taking allergy medicine I discovered I could be with all horses again. This miraculous discovery fueled my passion to do everything I could be learn about and be with horses. My years as a hairdresser taught me much about people and having a passion for people and horses and discovering how much the horse can teach a human about themselves because of what the horses have taught me in my own life I wanted to share the power of the horse with other people. Getting certified as an Equine assisted Learning facilitator in 2018, I now can share what the horse has to offer in Lifeskills leadership and personal development with all walks of life. I’m so grateful to be able to share this knowledge through experiential learning with you.
